This small promontory work, which is situated immediately behind the W end of Machrihanish village, is in such a wasted condition that no measurements of its interior are recorded. The single wall that cut off the southern approaches to the promontory utilises a natural scarp, but all that remained when it was recorded by RCAHMS investigators in 1962 were three outer facing-stones. The entrance, they thought, was probably along the W margin of the promontory.
