This small fortification occupies a precipitous promontory on the N coast of Rum to the W of Kilmory Bay. A single wall 3.8m in thickness has been drawn across the neck of the promontory, which is little more than 9m wide. The irregular interior measures a maximum of 25m from N to S by 12m transversely (0.04ha).
