A small fortification occupies a narrow hillock on the E side of an unnamed burn high up on the NE flank of Creagan nan Gamhna. The ground falls away steeply on the SW, but the approach from the NW is barred by the remains of a wall spread 3m to 4m thick, and while this cannot be traced around the more accessible E flank, a further band of rubble can be seen at the narrow SSE end. The featureless area these define on the summit measures about 33m from NNW to SSE by 13m transversely (0.03ha).
