Summary

Lying approximately 196m NW of Mindrummill Crag on Mindrummill Farm are the alleged remains of a small hillfort recorded by Maclauchlin (1919-22). It was described as bivallate with the inner rampart 64m in diameter (0.1ha). The site was recorded on an aerial photograph (NT8334S-T Museum of Antiquities Newcastle) but is not on OS mapping and an English Heritage field inspectors visit in 1966 failed to locate the enclosure. No further information is available.
