Summary

This small fortification occupies an eroded promontory on the NW bank of the Boquhan Burn in Dasher Wood. Its defences comprise two rubble ramparts blocking the approaches from the N and W and cutting off a roughly oval area measuring about 38m from NE to SW to the rear of the inner rampart by a maximum of 24m transversely (0.08ha). The entrance is probably on the NNE. The interior is featureless.
