This fort occupies a rocky hillock which rises abruptly on the SW side of the public road at Cillchriosd. Roughly oval on plan, it measures about 50m from NW to SE by 23m transversely within a wall that can be traced along the more accessible SW flank, where several runs of the outer face can also be seen. The entrance is on this side on the W. Apart from a later field bank extending along the inner margin of the wall, the interior is featureless.
