Summary

Situated on a ridge, this oval fortification measures about 49m from NW to SE by 26m transversely (0.1ha) within a single wall which can be traced everywhere except the NE, where the flank of the ridge drops away particularly sharply. Long runs of outer face are visible on the SE and W, and the occasional inner facing-stone indicates a wall thickness of between 3m and 4.3m. The entrance is on the SE and the interior is featureless.
