Summary

This fort is situated on the summit of a steep-sided ridge. The defences comprise a single wall cutting across the spine of the ridge on the NW and SE respectively to enclose a sub-rectangular area measuring 70m from NW to SE by from 28m to 40m transversely (0.24ha). The wall is heavily robbed, but retains long stretches of its outer face at both ends, comprising a row of massive grounders up to 1.2m across. The entrance is on the NW.
