Summary

Situated on the summit of a steep-sided knoll, this small fortification is oval on plan and measures 29m from NNE to SSW by 19m transversely (0.04ha) within a wall between 3.7m and 5m in thickness. In places the wall has been reduced to little more than a band of rubble, but where it is best preserved on the SW both faces can be seen, the outer standing up to 0.5m in height in three courses. The entrance is on the ENE and the sloping interior is featureless.
